I know perfectly well how both the Marianas Trench joke and the 1920’s Style Death Ray joke came to be but I don’t understand how they were ever considered funny. I have even used them myself and tried to spice them up but still nothing.

I have never read Terry Pratchett. I don’t particularly want to, either, he has too many books. I have read Good Omens though.

I think there should be some limits on the availability of abortion and I don’t think evolutionary theory explains the origin of life or the uniqueness of human consciousness.
