Yeh. I don’t see the big deal about cats either. LOL or otherwise. I value human life above all other varieties on this planet. While I like The Simpsons, I can’t quote much of it, nor do I watch it much. Same for Futurama. I’m not so sure there _isn’t_ a god. Don’t give a shit about politics. Don’t give a shit about sports. I think one way or another, Global Warming™ will be worked out, if in fact it is an imminent threat. (That said, I can’t stand the idea of fossil fuels or other rapping of finite natural resources) I love it when the SDMB stalwarts jump all over some wandering crackpot who posts here, usually as a guest. The best kind of entertainment there is. 😃 ---

I don’t really see a problem with male circumcision, and I think rap is perfectly legitimate music (in the right hands, like all other music). I also think a couple of very universally loved posters here have really eye-rolling posts. 😃 ---

I think it’s stupid that we worry so much about Global Warming, when we are standing smack dab in the middle of two ice ages and on top of Yellowstone’s super volcano that is a near _ELE_ and long overdue to erupt. I thought it was stupid that we worried so much about ozone holes in the atmosphere when there never actually was a hole and the depleted levels measured have since rebounded. I thought it was much ado about nothing really, since the sun is what creates ozone in the first place. I love cats, but I’d hack every one of them on the planet into little bits to save a single crack-addicted homeless person with aids. Sometimes a kid needs the shit kicked out of him/her. You should be able to worship in any way you see fit, but if you are caught witnessing to a child, you should be hanged. Any teacher attempting to initiate prayer in the classroom should be fired on the spot, and government officials invoking the name of God should be treated as if they were drooling retards, and there should be a national atheist day, where professed atheists get a parade and stuff. Oh, and chocolate. And I really, REALLY shouldn’t admit this but: Pray that I never get to be God for a day, because the majority of you would be sent to a place where I never have to look at you (or hear you) again. ---

As an addendum to my last comment… I kind of enjoy trolling, too. While I’d never troll (and never have), especially in a board I love as much as this one, it’s fun to watch the aftermath. I have to admit, it makes for entertaining reading as everyone’s emotions turn into a musky lather. I also share **Euthanasiast’s** view of proselytizing to the young and **olivesmarch4th’s** views on pitting. Well put! ---

Things you shouldn’t admit to on the SDMB (but I’m going to anway): I believe in fidelity, and think that sexual promiscuity is not only ill-advised but rather pathetic. I don’t like porn. Pets are not equal to people, not even children. Swearing does not make you a bette debator or a more clever poster. You can take your hidebound, extreme, petty and harebrained politcal opinons and shove 'em. I’m a centrist and damned proud of it. Not wearing makeup or being unconcerned about your personal appearance does not make you a better, deeper person. Ditto if you believe in herbal remedies, organic stuff, home schooling and neo-pagansim. It just makes you slighty different, not better–got that? Different. ---

She’s got some really good advice on stuff. I’ve noticed a trend of this in the past few years. Not just here, so perhaps I’m conflating RL with here (another thing one should never do).
