-I hate Monty Python, Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and have pretty much decided that I can’t be friends with people who are die hard fans. -Whenever the topic of IQ or age you learned to read comes up, I think you are all lying. I mean why not, it makes you look better and no one can prove you wrong. -I judge people who use a lot of smilies in their posts. Especially that green shit eating grin one. -I don’t understand why people find 80% of the “funny” stuff here funny. (horror of blimps not included…that was really funny) ---

[/QUOTE] None of my biz, here, but I think \*\*Dying Butterfly \*\* was trying to come up with some examples of things that _if_ they were thought by anyone, should not be admitted to here. Since Sampiro’s stories are damn near universally loved here, it would not be wise for one who disagrees to admit it on this board. I thought that is what the original OP meant, but then the conversation moved to where it looks like people are simply stating their own opinions that they think would be unpopular on this board. In other words, I don’t think Dying was intending to insult Sampiro. Of course I could be dead wrong. ---

I agree with **Nzinga** that the thing about **Sampiro** was meant as a joke. The other two examples were obviously jokes. ---

I forgot to mention Harry Potter. Oh, Og, how I loathe Harry Potter. Granted, I’m a little bitter. But I paid $3.75 to see the last movie (actually, $7.50 to see the Simpsons movie, at the drive-in with some friends, and Harry Potter 5 and some other crapfest were showing for free immediately afterwards–I fell asleep a couple of times during HP5 so I didn’t stick around for the third movie that night), and I’m convinced the actors could’ve all been replaced by tongue depressors and it would’ve been a more captivating movie. ---
