Mock the Week isn’t Irish, but Dara did used to host a show called The Panel, which is Irish (based on the Australian show).
Mom’s Journal of the Zombie Years, it’s a long running thread on Zombiehunters dot org (332 pages!) that details the experiences of a Florida family during a Level Four zombie outbreak
Initially, the author started it as a kind of “how to prepare for adversity” prep thread, sprinkling it with anecdotes, recipes and such but it rapidly mutated to, quite simply, one of the best bits of zombie fiction out there, it’s good enough to be an actual physical book, right up there with Steven King and Max Brooks
A few problems though;
The author is overly fond of cliffhangers
She has currently not updated the story in months, but she has a lot of real world duties vying for her time
It’s INCREDIBLY addictive, and when you reach the final page (at 330+ pages it’ll take a while) you will have joined the ranks of the “Moar Zombies” as well, be warned…
Oh, has anyone mentioned QI? Hosted by Stephen Fry, it’s a quiz show to end all quiz shows, and meant for the doper demographic. They give negative points for going for obvious right answers that are actually wrong, and points for answers that are interesting, regardless of being correct. And it’s funny as hell.

I’ve been listening to RP quite a lot after clicking on that link. For some reason, I can’t stream it at work, but at home, it’s on a good chunk of the time, and I’ve discovered lots of music I never knew about. So you’ve generated at least one more devoted listener!
