I always wanted a silver/gold cigarette case, even though I don’t smoke. They look incredibly cool!
I also like cufflinks-but who uses them anymore?
What are things you want but have no use for?

For some reason I always thought a nice gold, engraved hip flask would be cool, even though I don’t drink and I’m the wrong sex to keep one in a hip pocket. Something about them just says sophisticated and suave.

I love watches, and probably have a dozen. But I never wear them. So I had to finally declare a moratorium on buying the damn things.

An icecream maker. No doubt it would end up in appliance heaven\* like the yoghurt maker and the bread maker.

I had a friend in college who had a silver cigarette case and didn’t smoke – She used it as a wallet.
I got an ipod touch a couple of weeks ago, but haven’t used it yet. The ice cream maker sounds good too…

I’ve bought some things I will never use.
I have some swords I’ll never use. Well at least for their intended purpose. I do shut the curtains and secure the cat in the bedroom and play with them once in a while.
I have quite a few action figures that I don’t play with. They just sit on the shelf.
I have a couple of these

that I’ll never shoot. My step dad has a bunch and I’ve shot those plenty of times but I wanted a couple just to hang on my wall.
As for things I want but I know I’ll never use would probably be kitchen stuff. Ice cream maker, bread maker and sausage maker have all tempted me to buy them but I haven’t.
Good call on the Blooming Onion **Cluricaun**. My problem is that I would use way too much and die of a heart attack in a few months.

I once owned a sterling silver cigarette case; I have no idea what happened to it.
I still own a few cuff links—most of them are one of a pair; the ones that completed the pair have gone where lost socks go.
I would love to own a Harley Sportster; I would never use it because my Darling Marcie would never permit it.
I would love to own a Gretch guitar but my arthritic fingers would not allow me to use it.

I’m still looking for a silver cigarette case to use as a business card holder.
A Kaypro II - my dad had one when I was a kid. They’re not terribly hard to find, but what would be the point?
A furisode or tomesode (kimono) - I have no reason to wear my semi-formal kimono now, why should I get a super formal one?
Some really nice swords. I have a $20 piece of shit thing I bought to use as a prop during PirateFaire but I want something usable. Maybe Damascus steel.

A howitzer!
On a less disturbing, and more fun, level, an out-of-service .50 Browning machine gun. Which would then be made even safer by filling the barrel with lead. And then inspected by local law enforcement. Then bolted to the roof of my car. 😃 But I wouldn’t be using it as a gun, so that counts, right?
