That could be a while! Along those same lines, I always thought we should have seen more scenes between Troi and Crusher. Like showering after a workout. Or Leffler, after getting tired of Wesley’s fumblings, stomping off to 10 Forward, grabbing a bottle and an ensign, and haring off to her quarters to get her freak on. Or, at any time during DS9 or ST:TNG, someone saying “I looked up the doctor’s log from the NCC-1701. Did you know that with a simple injection, we can all be unstoppable telekinetics?” ---

Terrorist action from the Rebels. They only do regular warfare things. More explanation/sense of how the fuck the Empire deals with its aliens, seeing as it seems to have segregationist policies against them. ---

You know how sometimes characters in a show will appear in other shows? And how they’re always time travelling on Star Trek? I give you the Enterprise crew ending up with the Sex and the City girls in NYC or Happy Days in Milwaukee. ---

It seems to me that there was something about how SOP caused all of the ships to approach each other in a common orientation. ---

Speaking of which, I wouldn’t mind seeing a tornado ripping through the business district or something. Surely turning an entire planet into one big honking metropolis without any major topological features, like mountains or large bodies of water, ought to have some sort of big meteorological effects. They’re humans who are completely unrelated to us. Anyway, I got the impression that the Rodians, Wookies and Gungans are more primitave races, new to advanced technology and space travel. Humans, OTOH, are an ancient race that spread throughout the galaxy thousands of years before, and its origins are long forgotten. ---

I always wanted to see Star Wars light sabers used for other purposes. I got all excited when they were using them to cut through a door in Episode One but the scene didn’t go anywhere. It looked like Qui-Gon-Booze was having a lot of trouble with it as well, it should just slice through metal easy peasy. ---

Am I imagining it or pre-_Enterprise_ was there talk of a Starfleet Academy show? I thought that would have been interesting - sort of Star-Trek-meets-90210 - but I suspect that by the midpoint of the first season the writers and/or audience would have gotten bored and contrived to send all the characters into space for fun alien/technology-based hijinks. ---

We see this done twice in _Empire_, but you’re right–it was rarely taken advantage of post-Hoth. ---
