There are some restaurants in the SF Bay area called [“The Thai Stick”](http://www.thaistickrestaurant.com). Unfortunately they only sell Thai food. But, if they can open a branch in Colorado, they can kill 2 birds with one stone(r). ---

I wanted pre-packaged Chex Mix snacks to come in blackened cajun flavor, called Purina Yuppie Chow. Of course, that only works if you know that Checkerboard Farms, the one-time producer of Chex cereals, was once part of the conglomerate Ralston-Purina. And by the time Yuppies were a thing, they weren’t any more. ☹ ---

I think this place used to be a precursor to the drive-through. The idea is that you park, honk your horn, and a waitress comes out to take your order. But the name implies gastronomic disorders. There’s more than one? The town that **Zoe** used to grow up in has (maybe had now) a **Toot ‘n’ Tell It!** which performed as you say. Carhops and such. Best we had where I spent (misspent) my youth was a **Dog ‘n’ Suds**. Somehow not as quaint. ---

My friend’s mom told me about some of her business plans. She wanted to open a bar in an old church, and call it “Holy Spirits”. She had a punny slogan, too - wish I could remember. She also wanted to start a service for people who’ve lost a loved one and have had them cremated, but who are unable to travel to the desired location to scatter them. Her service would ship the cremains and have someone scatter them, say a few nice words, take pictures, etc. She’d call it “Ashes to Ashes, Coast to Coast”.
