Judging by responses to this thread, which I can only assume comprise a random sample, I estimate that well in excess of 95% of the members here are under age 25. You should fit right in. Oh. And I’m 22. ---

95%? I hardly think so. Based on my experience here, I’d guess at least 10% are 50 or older. ---

From those that have posted in this thread, that’s probably true. Younger dopers will probably respond in much higher numbers than their older counterparts because their younger age makes them seem special, whereas being older makes them just like everyone else. I could be completely wrong, but it makes sense to me. ---

I’m 19, but I’ll be 20 in August . . . which feels entirely too old. 16 year-olds at the grocery store call me “ma’am”. Like a lot of the SDMB young folk, I also look at my peers and see them as incomprehensible lunatics, so go figure. ---
