Hamburg. I think I thought of it even before Berlin. Frankfort would also be up there. Königsburg also comes to mind, mostly because of the bridge puzzle. ---

Hamburg. I don’t know a whole lot about the city but an Otto Dix painting titled “The Goodbye to Hamburg” came to mind. ---

Lubeck, HQ of the medieval Hanseatic League of trading city states. Kiel, HQ of the Imperial German Navy ca. mid 19th century- WWI. Both are located in Schelswig-Holstein on the Baltic side of the Jutland peninsula. ---
