I don’t suppose Pennsic counts?

I guess I was inspired by Monopoly.
Johnstown
Greensburg
Harrisburg
Ligonier (not much of a city though)
Latrobe
Mechanicsburg
Harrisburg
Lancaster came to mind first. Lived in PA for 10 years so I know a lot of them.
Which is across the street from The Real home of snakes, aka The Politician’s Retirement Home.
Many of the responses include places I’d call towns, not cities.
If you think Ligonier is not much of a City (and you’re right about that), try New Florence or Fairfield - I lived around there. Although, honestly, they’re probably not classified as cities.
Grew up in Johnstown, lived in Pottstown for several years, sister lives just outside of Lancaster, brother just outside of Harrisburg.
Sorry, can’t think of any.
Bethlehem was my first thought.
I never lived there, but my family originates from central PA.
Elysburg (Knoebels)
Shamokin
Lewisburg (Bucknell, and a prison)
Mifflinburg
Weikert
Glen Iron
Jersey Shore
King of Prussia
Pottsville (Yuengling)
Bellafonte
Shenandoah (Mrs. T’s pierogies)
Snow Shoe
Centralia because my dad was originally from there, before my grandparents were forced to move to Tamaqua due to the 40+ year old underground coal fire that’s still going. It’s a ghost town now. My great aunt was one of the last people still living there until she died a couple years ago.
Tresckow because my mom is from there. More of a town than a city though.
Hazleton, home of by far the greatest thing I’ve ever tasted, Senape’s pitza. Best served at room temperature.
Carlisle and Mechanicsburg. Used to have business travel to both of them a lot.
Hazleton. Try the Beltway Diner.
Gettysburg seems to be of some historical interest.
Harrisburg
McKeesport. Donora.
A few somewhat obscure ones.
True fact: The road from Blue Ball to Paradise runs through Intercourse. Check it on the map yourself!
It’s already been mentioned, but my first thought was my hometown of Johnstown.
Donora is the hometown of three major league baseball players: Stan Musial and Ken Griffey, Sr. and Ken Griffey, Jr.
Huh, I wouldn’t have guessed that we had multiple Johnstownians here. By any chance, did either of you know a large family named Sheehan?
