My Mensa puzzle-a-day calendar had this for today: There are two correct answers for each clue. Answers share the same letters and blanks. 1. Wedding VIP: \_ R \_ \_ \_ 2. Fruit: \_ E \_ O N 3. Disney dwarf: S \_ E E \_ Y 4. Southern U.S. state: \_ \_ O R \_ \_ A 5. Game with wickets: C R \_ \_ \_ E T Now I’m trying to come up with some more – can you? ---

As far as The Gambia… the official name is actually Republic of The Gambia, and as Wiki notes it’s “commonly known as Gambia” so I don’t think being a pedant about the “the” is called for. ---
