Just by coincidence, last night I came across her obit from the Chicago Sun-Times. I just came back after 10 years or so, and read the in memoriam thread. Quite sobering. A lot of the ones I remembered were there. And itā€™s really changed the vibe of the place (understandably). I would have liked to have more to do with a lot of those who have left us, but at the time I was new to message boards and overwhelmed. I regret not jumping in a bit more while I had the chance. ---

This charming ca. half-hour documentary aired many times on my local PBS station. Itā€™s quite charming, and features the First Gentleman of the tuba and an ensemble he directed, and also paid a visit to a brass instrument factory. Miss both her and Lynn Bodoni a lot, and think of them regularly. Two of the nicest people I never met in person, and still wish Iā€™d done so. ---
