Thirsty? How about some turkey blood?

I always suspected it might have been the uncooked poultry bloodshakes that were giving me the shits. Uncooked mammalian* and reptile blood is still OK though, isn’t it? And arthropod hemolymph?
*Kitten is the best - it sounds unlikely, but believe me - it really does taste cute!

H5N1 was spread quite fast because the Vietnamese live in such close contact with poultry and often eat sick chickens and ducks without getting sick, not realizing that H5N1 is far worse than any other disease encountered.

At the risk of losing my Cultural Sensitivity card and being booted from the local chapter of Sensitive Understanding Liberals–that is fucking disgusting.

That makes some sense. But to my mind, that would be eating uncooked poultry blood, not drinking it. Or is this the kind of soup that you drink from a boullion cup or something?

I must ask. What are these parts that specify they shouldn’t be licked? (and why?)
