My evidence that my brain is defective also comes from a foreign language class. I took French class in high school and one of the lessons contained a sentence that I’m sure never has been uttered with a straight face in the history of the French language. “Oh, mama, quelle beau choufleur!” (Oh, mother, what a beautiful cauliflower!) For 30 years, this is the French tidbit I remember. ---
