I’m not a Brummie. I grew up in the north, and then spent a few years in Cambridge. My accent tends to be descibed as “posh”. I’m in Birmingham since that’s where the best research group is for what I’m doing. ---

Ok, so that either means you have a job which requires you to look at galaxy clusters (Which is pretty impressive) or you just look at them as a hobby (which is fairly impressive) So… You have a fairly impressive job/hobby, a sexy accent, and… Well lets face it thats what this thread is about… Whats not to like?? ---

I’m an astrophysicist. I generally work with radio and X-ray observations. I’m working late at the moment, doing a bit of “investigative reading”. The office is quiet, as I’m the only one here, and I’m a night owl anyway. 🙂 ---
