Apologies to all the other conservatives but that guy went HAM\* for the Republican cause. He was in every thread arguing polls, debates, campaign rhetoric, you name it. Then he just disappeared like Keyser Soze’(Verbal Kint?) Or maybe it’s post-election withdrawal. But I’m pretty sure that his ‘no longer posting’ is part of said withdrawal. HAM = hard as a motherfucker ---

There were a lot of pre-election wagers being made. Did adaher make a bet at some point about not posting if Obama won? ---

His join date is 2003 so he has been around for some time and I suspect he will be back at some point. Just licking his wounds and pouting I suspect. ---

I felt kind of sorry for **adaher** the morning after the election. The guy wasn’t faking it; he had not a shred of doubt that Romney was going to win. I wonder how it must feel to believe in something so fervently and be shown to be so utterly, utterly wrong. If I’m not mistaken, I believe **adaher** is an older guy. I hope he’s okay. ---

OMG, in contrast, made some actual predictions: I thought his pitting was _confused_: it didn’t assess OMG properly and it missed out on adaher. You know, when doomsday cults see the day they’re sure is the last day of the world come and pass, do they become disillusioned and realize how wrong they were? No, actually, they become more fervent than ever. Somehow, being utterly sure you’re right at something and then being proven wrong actually increases your conviction that you were right, paradoxically. In the doomsday case, they figure out that they forgot to carry a 1 somewhere, and the apocalypse actually happens in 3 years. In Adaher’s case, I don’t know - maybe he’s having tea parties with dolls that represent Romney’s cabinet resurrecting our country. AMERICA, FUCK YEAH! ---
