I disagree. The car was next to the curb. He started moving out to the left first and THEN to the right. foot person should been herded to the right. He chose to go to the driver’s side and then it looks like he struck the window with his hand another vehicle passed by and then the door with the stick which escalated it further. It sounded like a substantial thump in the video. The driver should have been worried about another swing into the window. there was nothing stopping foot person from backing up or moving off to the sidewalk in the first place. Note that driver took the stick and threw it away. he could have run him over or beaten him dead with the stick. He did neither. We don’t know what started it but we do know there was a guy wearing a mask and carrying a stick blocking traffic. ---

In the circumstances, with the car pushing him, footperson could only move backwards to prevent from being knocked over. When the car starts moving slightly to the the left, once can see footperson is pushed slightly in the opposite direction, by a couple of inches or so, as one would expect. Again, the “stick”, which I’m still not sure isn’t an umbrella, is behind footperson, attached to or tucked into his rucksack. In no way is he brandishing it, or using it in a threatening manner. The video is not clear enough to tell whether footperson is wearing a mask, balaclava or just a beanie and snood, with snood pulled up over face. I’ve seen people cover the lower part of their face with a snood or scarf on a cold day who did not appear to be doing so for reasons of concealing their identity, or for nefarious purposes. Whether there are specific anti-mask/face-covering laws would depend on where this incident took place, which isn’t known. From the video, there is insufficient evidence to prove that the footperson is covering the lower part of his face with the intent to deliberately disguise his identity. ---

Still asserting an unarmed pedestrian MIGHT BE ARMED as he’s pushed by a vehicle. The question remains: does the driver get to beat the ANTIFA DUDE for being blocked from driving for a couple seconds, after hitting him, and will our white knights fully defend someone else in the same situation, if it’s a liberal beating the shit out of a MAGAbot? ---
