It looks as if it uses \<pre\>\</pre\> tags to keep the formatting, which I think displays a carriage return as one. It also has a \<br\> tag at the end of each line, which is presumably vBulletin’s standard way to get carriage returns to display. Doesn’t seem to be a damn thing you can do about it.

Yeah, looks as if the \<br\> tags aren’t added for preview (I previewed after submitting), but are when you submit. grrr…
