But they’re actually “peyos,” the sideburns worn by Orthodox Jewish men. They (the peyos) are prescribed by a commandment in Torah not to cut the hair at the corners of the head. … I wasn’t referring to the “sideburns.” Two of **MadHatter** ’s smilies – one yellow and one orange – have parentheses growing out of their “ears.” Now that I think more about it, the “sideburns” _do_ look more like worms than do the parentheses. Hmmmm… anyway, the extra parentheses have me baffled. ---

Huh. I didn’t notice that before. Well, you may already know this, but if you want to figure out how a poster did something with the vB code or the smilies, you can click on the “quote” button on the far right at the bottom of their post. This will give you the text they typed in to get it. It looks like **MadHatter** just typed in an extra parenthesis. But I’m not sure why. (😕 ---
