_sigh_ Personally, I find the thing hilarious. It is in horrible taste, however. As Euty just earlier chided me for something “tasteless” regarding my bodily funcitons since my surgery, it struck me as odd that he would post something like this. Doubly so since it seemed \*unlikely that he had just seen it for the first time. ---

Fair enough. ‘Opposing view’ was probably not the best choice of words. I certainly don’t regard my views as being in opposition to yours. You’re right about the possibility of a hijack and I wasn’t trying to start an argument (I deliberately didn’t get into the substantive issue). I was just a bit miffed that you were clearly making a point, while at the same time appearing to ringfence it from any response. Maybe I was being a bit over-sensitive on that score and, if so, I apologise. ---

I am not particularly religious, I do believe in God, but I laugh and share blasphemous jokes and I also swear and blaspheme (Lord’s name in vain, whatever). Personally though, this site went past the bounds for me. I respect its right to exist as free speech/expression/“art” - but I found it completely offensive and appalling. Not because they were christian images and my background was christian - I would have felt the same had I see jewish or hindu or islamic images. I also have an issue with the use of a baby/infant image in this way, not just because it’s jesus. ---
