My 2¢ worth: Drills are the power source, be it a corded drill, hammer drill, drill/driver, or drill press. Bits can be drill bits, driver bits, and as the folk across the pond refer, pink bits and naughty bits 😛 I rather like the last two, but they aren’t often found at Home Depot. 😃 ---

Why don’t you borrow a drill bit from the machine shop where you work to drill your hole? You could then take the “drill” back to Canadian Tire and the bit back to work. ---

They’ve been carefully wrapped, though, and people get mightily upset if you try to unwrap 'em. DD ---
