I seem to recall this or something like it from a Dr. Seuss book. It sounds like this is something that fish in “Cat in the Hat” would say, but I don’t have any available. Is this in a Dr. Seuss book, or did I imagine it? ---

Vaguely reminds me of shamefull event in junior high, but it was in fact the fish’s line from “The Cat in the Hat” when the Cat was balancing plates and juggling the fishbowl. ---

yes, it’s from _The Cat in the Hat._ I can’t remember the whole thing, though. I can’t find my kid’s copy of the book. It’s in her room somewhere, and she’s sleeping. I found _The Cat in the Hat Comes Back,_ though! 🙂 ---

Personally, I always found that “Winking Yink” pretty creepy. I haven’t seen that book in years, but I can picture that ugly winking critter drinking his pink ink. Ye Gods! ---
