Was there some kind of apocalypse 20,000 posts ago and I missed it?
I hate missing apocalypses. It’s such a once-in-a-lifetime thing, ya know?

(reason for the bonus: I’m sitting here waiting for the post count to hit exactly 6,686,665 so I can post this. I’m a nerd, I know)

I hate to break it to you, but this (and by “this”, I mean the OP) is actually the 7,205,105th post. Maybe look back and see if anything extra-scary happened around half a million posts ago?

How do you figure?
On the main forum view it showed 6,686,665 total posts when I posted. (now it’s showing 6,686,826)
Are posts deleted after a while? Looks like you’re doing something fancy with the address bar to determine it - I’m looking at the total number of posts - but if some of the oldest posts are no longer on the server, that would explain the discrepancy in our figures.

Hover the cursor over the “Report Bad Post” triangle and it will show you your post number, and you will find that **Silver Fire’s** 7,205,105 is correct.

At any rate–no matter the post count–there are no post count parties. Even group ones.
