Damn dog and damn bladder. It’s pouring rain outside, much better than pouring rain inside. {{{ **Midget** }}} don’t let those thoughts overrun your mind. If somebody is going to get upset with you because you text them then you don’t need them in your life. People do what they do, often with no rhyme or reason, and often it has nothing to do with us. I know you can’t talk yourself out of depression, but you can teach yourself to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 70 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 73 for the day and yet more rain. Floodin’ is happenin’ in area creeks and the river is predicted to crest tomorrow although not as high as originally predicted so there is that. The only worry I have is water could rise over the little bridge on my main road into town where two creeks come together to flow into the river. ICK! I may do a little cave spiffin’ today. Other than that no big plans afoot for the day. Now I am in need of more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. After that, who knows! Happy Tuesday Y’all! ---

Day 3 of 7. Day 1 of me working by myself most of the day. Someone last night broke the clip in the box we keep our Very Important Pieces of Paper in. We’ve only had it two weeks. I’m going to get with management today to suggest some Consequences and Repercussions. There were rules about this box, mainly dealing with not breaking the clip in the back of the box. :mad: I know this makes no sense to the rest of you, but we really need that box in working order. I know who broke it, too, and we all hate her because she’s completely incompetent. I’m tired of putting out fires she starts. In good news, I should be getting the Infernal Machine with its new 2TB hard drive back today! :D:D:D ---

Thanks, all. My friend did get back to me. He’s been busy. And he doesn’t seem mad at me. It’s my brain overreacting again. Major snowstorm today, the biggest we’ve had in a few years. It’s the weather system from the southern US that caused the tornadoes, coming here and bringing lots of snow. ---

All three drawing fixes were quick and easy. Now I’m trying to do what should have been a simple graphic, but I can’t figure out how to do it, nor can the best drafter in our group. So I’ve got to wait for the engineer to find out how the heck he’s done this stupid chart. Dunno if he’s coming in today… la la la la la la ---

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone… Well, at least for the time being; it’s all gone East and North to torment my fellow mumpers in those regions (I’m in N. Ali-bama). Power and Internet has been restored to the building I work in, so looks like I’ll be putting in a full day of irk…such as it is and what there is of it. Doubt we have 50% staffing levels as everybody uses up their leave between Xmas and New Years–I never have made plans that way, so I’m the guy left ‘holding the fort’, which does not bother me since damn near nothing is happening. ---

Apparently neither of the power users here want to or are able to show me what I need to know to do this stoopit drawing, so I have nothing to do. The engineer isn’t here and I don’t know if he’s coming today. The on-line help is pretty close to worthless - when you search, it brings up every occurrence of the term, even within another word, so “text” also yields “context” in the list of results. I brought a couple of magazines with me - guess it’s time to crack one open. ---

Cold! 19F with a high of 29F, clear and sunny, tho. All of the side streets are iced over and most of the thoroughfares are still a bit slick in places. Yuck. Overslept. Work is still dull. Brought some knitting. Wish I was still sleeping. ---

We had record sales yesterday and the office is overflowing with folks today too. My spreadsheet that I use to enter the previous days sales does not have enough room so I had to add a page. TPTB have the workbook locked so I had to send it off to the region for the lady to fix it so all pages total and carry over to page one. I am at a standstill until she gets it back to me. Busy busy day and week. I have a meeting in the morning to go over the website for Air Show seating sales. I will be in charge of that. In only four months we will be having the Southernmost Air Spectacular! Since we are meeting in my office I have to spend a little time today cleaning, organizing and mopping the floor. Place is a mess. Our 32nd anniversary is the 31st. We are going to a Casino Party at our Doctor’s house. Hubby leaves the next day for a trip to GA to visit his kids and do some continuing education classes. I look forward to having a week of alone time other than the critters. OK-gotta get back to irk. ---
