Ahhh **Nettie** you aren’t the only one, I started to say Happy Moonday! **Happy Thorsday!** **Happy New Year’s Eve!** **Happy Baker Birthday!** It’s been foggy and not so cold outside, 47 degrees right now. Then it looks like the temps are going to dip below freezing every night. I have to find the box my phone came in, the battery isn’t holding a charge anymore. I woke up to a dead phone, and it was at 100% battery level when I went to bed. I’m pretty sure I have a spare battery in the box, if I can remember where I put it. Now that my phone is alive again I see that today is payday. I need to shift some money around and pay some bills. Not doing anything for NYE. Probably irk, which I need to do more of. I hope **FCMmom** and **Mrs Bobbio** feel better soon. I’m hungry, need to get something to eat and then log in to irk ---

At work with the other 3-4 people who either don’t have leave to take or don’t want to take it at this time (raises hand). Expect that sometime after launch we’ll be sent home; got off a hour early yesterday. **Bobbio,** hope the Mrs. isn’t feeling too poorly this am; Aleve always worked for me. Can’t remember ever colliding with a wall, but have occasionally had a few moments of whoopy-daisy getting up in the early am. **Baker,** another orbit around the sun completed. My congratulations. Going to be in the 50’s and dipping below freezing at night. Oh joy. Otherwise, a blurfy New Years Eve to all y’all. ---

_ **Happy Baker Day!!!** _ I went back to bed and slept till almost 9!! I was dreaming that Kevin Spacey was playing guitar in the band at my wedding… which is especially weird since \*\*FCD \*\*and I eloped! But in the dream, I was walking around in a white dress. And I was tall and thin - definitely a dream. 😃 Just finishing my WaWa breakfast - when I got home, I noticed a couple of forsythia blooming!! They’re not going to be happy when the cold hits overnight over the next few days. Meanwhile, I’m going to take advantage of the last bit of mildness by cleaning the smoker (finally) and vacuuming out the car - it got kinda crumb-y on our trip. Yanno, it’s pretty amazing what enough sleep does for a body. I actually feel human! What a concept! 😃 Altho I was confused by **Nettie** ’s thread. 😉 ---

The smoker is clean(er) and the car is vacuumed. I need to clean the inside of the windshield - ugh, I hate doing that. I loaded the dishwasher and ran a rinse cycle. I smooshed down the contents of the recycle can so more stuff can be crammed in before I switch bags. Pretty productive, I must say. Go me! 😃 ---

**HAPPY BUTTERVERSARY!!!** Lots of food prep has happened this mornin’. Go Me! A pound cake just came outta the oven and looks and smells nummy! Everything else (almost) is ready for cookage which won’t be that big of a deal. Greens will be cooked a little later today and heated up tomorrow as they are better that way. The blackeyed peas have been soaked and will hang out in a slow cooker durin’ the mornin’ tomorrow. So cook rice, bake meatloaf, corn bread, and hominy casserole (a last minute addition due to a gnawin’ and a cravin’ on my part) is all there is to it tomorrow. There shall be Bloody Mary’s and/or Mimosas with some cheese ‘n crackers to munch upon before N.O.L. Should be a nice NYD gatherin’ on what promises to be a dreary day tomorrow. Oh, and we still have rain. ICK! **BBBobbio** hope VWife is doin’ better today and not too sore. I think a nap may be in order. ---

Thanks for the Anniversary wishes. 🙂 I went to the Pubic store and procured collard greens, poke chops for frying and sweet taters to go along with the black eyed peas. Can’t take any chances on not having good financial luck in the new year. 😃 Since today is the end of the month I have been doing the inventory and starting the EOM list of things to do. 🆒 I bought a bottle of champagne and some plastic wine glasses and we are gonna have a New year toast when we close the office in a bit. I even asked the mother of my 18 yr old clerk if she could partake of a tiny bit in celebration and she said yes. 😛 40 more minutes then home. ---
