So I was watching TV today when [this](https://www.ispot.tv/ad/AD2K/charter-spectrum-triple-play-beatbox-featuring-80fitz) Charter Communications commercial came on. Wow. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Just…_why_? Someone earns a living coming up with ideas like this??

Irritating as hell, but there are plenty just as annoying. Worst? Hardly. Any of the Billy Mays-type shouter commercials are far “worse” in my book.

Far from the worst. In fact, it’s even kind of catchy, and the girls are cute. How can it be worse than, for example, off the top of my head, those lame Chevy commercials, where people are amazed that Chevy sweeps all those awards. And all those ED product ads featuring plastic women who don’t look sexy to anybody except Egyptian school boys. Or promos for sitcoms in re-run. Or the Soinc ads with the two obnoxious boring dopes sitting in a car.

I don’t like the ones for Cialis. You know the ones where the dude takes the pill to help his erectile disfunction and then he and his wife take baths in separate bathtubs? I mean, seriously? You just dropped a boner pill, dude, and you’re gonna jerk off by yourself in the tub while holding hands with your wife?

I miss Smilin’ Ed and his Enzyte boner pills. total fraud, but he and Mrs. Smilin’ Ed were hilarious. This new crop of floozies looking all cute holding a football or lolling around in a wood treehouse and giving all those fake ‘meaningful’ looks at their men (praying for boners?) make me a bit queasy. As do those stupid lube commercials shown a million times a night on certain channels, not that I mind lube commercials, but a million times a night?
