Ooops, I missed the “civilian” during Desert Storm. My mistake. However, as a civilian, what did you offer? Good hell, there is an entire Air Force Base near my house that employees 15,000 civilians including most of my family members and did so during Desert Storm. The only thing they noticed different was that it took longer to get on base during certain periods and that there was more air traffic, other than that. . . :rolleyes: Still waiting for that e-mail. ---

If you can’t discuss the main topic of this thread without shooting at the OP… then it’s time to close it. I must admit… you folks have given me a totally different insight into the human psyche’ when its protrayed through a keyboard. Must be a blast at parties when you meet new people and call them morons because you can’t understand and dont want to understand… someone else’s point of view. Reading the innane comments from some of you who have demonstrated your inability to comprehend simple compound sentences, has given me so much pleasure the last few days. Only after the thread was hijacked, did I start to benefit from some logical assumptions and opinions of others. For those participating in the discussion about Third World economics… please do continue. It is most enlightening. ---

Ok Rosie, here’s my questions. I’ll try to keep the wording simple so you can understand what I’m asking. 1. What does PMS have to do with you not serving for 20 years? 2. How are you disabled and what happened? 3. As ex-AF you should know what unit coins are. Please share with the rest of the class (A little more in depth please than what I mentioned earlier, such as what is the drinking game I referenced earlier, although it’s not actually a game so to speak.) 4. How can you have someone who _was_ your sister? Are you related or not? If so, why would she call you a liar and why did you act in your post as if you didn’t know who this person was? 5. Have you ever seen combat? If so, where and when? 6. What was your job title? 7. Where were you stationed? I am willing to answer any questions about my military service _ **in depth** _ because I’ve actually been there and done that. Your descriptions of service are vague and now you’re outright dodging quesitons. If you don’t answer my questions, I’ll have to assume you’re full of shit and it’s off to coventry with you. ---

Here’s a military record (mine to be exact): Entering Basic Training March 18, 1992 Lackland AFB San Antonio TX Started tech school (don’t remember exact dates) Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo TX, after 7 weeks finished anoth 4 weeks of tech school at Nellis AFB Las Vegas NV. 1st (and only) Duty Assignment with Electronic Security Command, changed name to Air Force INtelligence Command, changed name again to Air Intelligence Agency, 68th Intelligence Squadron, Brooks AFB, San Antonio TX. Job Title: Defensive Command Control and Communications CounterMeasures Specialist 209X0, later changed to 1N6X1 (same job, different # due to AF restructuring) Brooks AFB Honor Guard Member 1993-1996 Decorations: Small Arms Expert Ribbon, Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Achievement Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Medal Took terminal leave in February 1996, officially discharged from active duty March 17, 1996. So that’s where I’m coming from and if you know as much as you claim to know, then you should have a clue at what that Expeditionary Medal means and quit acting like all military people want war. ---

They were obsolete after the late 70s/early 80s… cost too much. If you wanted one, you had to steal it from someone or find it at a flea market.
