No interview with a western media figure since October 2021, prior to the invasion of Ukraine. It was an interview with Hadley Gamble of CNBC. I didn’t watch the interview but reportedly Putin just said a bunch of talking points while Tucker nodded and didn’t challenge anything. As predicted it’s solely propaganda, with Tucker being used to try to give it a veneer of credibility. My guess is that the goal is to get support from right wing rubes in the US who are still fans of Tucker, despite the fact that he was disgraced and fired after getting his pants sued off for nonstop lying, conspiracy mongering, and defamation.
