Trier is very proud of a famous native son even if his work is controversial and not widely accepted in the west. You go to Trier, there are statues and plaques and things everywhere. The obvious stupidity is mixing up the books. The unobvious stupidity is that it sounds like he went to Trier and found it challenging to locate the history. ---

Also, _Das Kapital_, which bozo apparently meant to reference, was published in 1867, not 1848. Maybe he confused it with Thackeray’s _Vanity Fair_, which launched the modern Communist movement in 1848. 🙃 ---

Worst wildfire in the US in a century. Death toll approaching 100. And Fox “news” website inexplicably refuses to cover the story. It’s baffling. Someone has given an order to the network to pretend this does not exist for some reason. I have no idea why this would be remotely a normal thing for a “news” network to do. ---

Just counted six stories on the Fox website main page about the Maui fires. Two seemingly straightforward. Three others attack the Biden administration over its handling of/comments about the fires, one goes after Paris Hilton for vacationing on Maui. ---

How far did you have to go down to get to those two? I’ve yet to see a Maui fire article along the top unless it was bashing Biden. There are hundreds of articles on the main page so I would expect at least two real articles buried somewhere.
