Yeah apparently there was a Bergdorf Goodman there that had some minor damage, busted sprinkler system, clothing racks that needed to be re-worked, shoes re-displayed. ---

Today I learned that just deserts is properly written with one S instead of two. I would think it would be with two S’s (a sweet treat after a meal) as opposed to one (arid land), but apparently the “deserts” in the phrase “just deserts” isn’t related to either. It’s using an older meaning of the noun deserts: “deserved reward or punishment.” This is not a correction of anything anybody posted. Just a bit of my own ignorance that was just fought, so thought I would share ---
