In my weird, stream of consciousness-style of browsing the boards, I somehow came across an old thread with Jack Batty in it. “That’s a name it seems like I haven’t seen in awhile,” I thought. So I looked at his profile and saw that he hasn’t posted since March 26th. Then, using my finely honed, Batman-like detective skills, I clicked _search_ and it was revealed to me that none of his recent posts said anything about being gone for awhile. Is it typical for regulars like that to just dissapear off the face of Cecil’s green Earth for 5 or more weeks at a time? Where are you Jack?!! ---

Jack’s around. He’s been having connectivity problems at home, and he can’t access the boards at work. But he’s still on god’s green earth. Or the astral plane. One or the other. (He’s gonna be so amused when he sees this thread, too!) ---

Jack had a mental breakdown and is currently housed in a nuthouse. OR Jack’s been enlisted by the Defense Department to use his deductive reasoning and intuitiveness to find Saddam. 😉 [sub]Hey, he can’t see this yet, so might as well run with it.[/sub] ---

What’s his lj? If anyone would be so kind as to name it here or email it to me (if there are privacy issues) I’d really appreciate it. I always liked **Jack** and regretted not getting around to meeting him when he was still on this coast. I’d love to read his lj and see how he’s doing. ---
