I think the movie that warped my 11-year-old mind was “The Blue Max.” More specifically, Ursula Andress wearing a towel. For a bit. Jumped-started me into puberty, it did! ---

Not a movie but the original (1960’s) version of The Outer Limits gave me the warps when I was a preteen. ---

There was a _Night Galley_ episode I saw when I was 10 called “The Caterpillar” about a man who endures weeks of agony as a worm slowly chews through his brain in one ear and out the other only to be told it was a female that laid eggs in his brain. Around the same time, I learned there was a local insect called an earwig. I spent the next two years sleeping with my head sandwiched between two pillows. ---

**Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure** “Mad Marge” was a total surprise and a cruel trick on children. **Pet Sematary** I was somewhere near 11 when I saw it first, I am not sure whether it’s Guage’s tendon slashing or Pascow’s bedside appearance that scarred me for life more. ---
