What “four Cs” are there? Maybe we can find a better clue. Let’s see… four cardinal points on a map four corners on a square/rectangle/room (assuming you are referring to room layout) Are there any card games that have “four cards” in a hand? Music that has “four chords”? ---

Four chambers in a heart… is there a fancy word for heart that fits E R? So in this “ditloid” does it have to be an actual thing like “7 days in a week” (which is a real thing) or can it be self-referential, like “4 E in an E I” for “four Es in an elephant’s intestine?” ---

Ooh - I bet the “4 carats in an engagement ring” poster is on to something. Aren’t there the 4 Cs that every guy’s supposed to know when shopping for an engagement ring - color, cut, clarity, and…um…carat, I suppose. So, 4 Cs in an Engagement Ring might make perfect sense - but the “C” in question is referring to the four words instead of just one. ---
