If you are ever pulled over speeding, and you want to get out of the ticket, roll down your window and, before the approaching officer even has a chance to speak, ask him “Don’t you have anything better to do?” Odds are, he will suddenly realize that, in fact, he could instead be on the lookout for more severe traffic infractions or perhaps even criminals fleeing from crime scenes. Likely he’ll thank you and hurry back to his patrol car, forgetting all about the speeding ticket he was about to write. ---
