> Spanning about 250 feet on the side of a Mary Waters Park hill, Rich Haralson and friends created a water ride Tuesday that puts Wham-O Inc.'s original Slip-n-Slide to shame.
>
> About a hundred of Haralson’s friends and others took the plunge down the slide, made of vinyl sheets and coated with soap and water, all in the name of good, clean fun.
>
> “I wanted everybody to go home and say, 'You wouldn’t believe what I just did today,” Haralson said.
