Everyone has seen a store or deli that has a dollar bill in a frame on the wall. I always assumed it was the very first dollar they took in the day they opened. Is this basically it, or can it mean something else? ---

That’s pretty much it, as far as I know. It is usually accompanied by the obligatory “…and the bastard tried to cash a fifty” anecdote. ---

I have one. The Chamber of Commerce gave it as part of the ribbon cutting ceremony. Mine has nothing to do with the first dollar I made. It was just a welcoming gift to the Chamber of Commerce. Jim ---
