What do you think of [Majid Majidi](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majid_Majidi) and [jafar Panahi](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jafar_Panahi)?

I saw **white balloon** and **song of the sparrows**. Realistic themes and some outstanding acting.Amazing movies !

Do these movies achieve financial success in U.S and Europe?Or are they confined to movie festivals?

Majid Majidi is one of the world’s greatest directors. Jafar Panahi is right up there too. But the greatest Iranian director–one of the greatest directors of all time–is [Abbas Kiarostami](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbas_Kiarostami).
