This thread has brought back some memories that have been buried for decades – like the Mattel and Kenner ones. Here are a few I remember from the same era… how many of you old farts can sing along? (Pre-“Marlboro Country” I believe) Old man Adams is the sourest man in town (“Gee, thanks!!!”) If you don’t want sugar, daddy, switch to Carefree gum. (Grumpy customer:) Have you got a medicated cough drop that _doesn’t_ taste like medicine? (Shopkeeper:) HAVE I GOT A…!!!
