It is immaterial that she may be so talented that it doesn’t matter; the fact remains that people mock it. Which was the point of the OP. Kennedy- urban legend or not, it’s one of those phrases that enough people have repeated and associated with the mis-translation that it has become a mockery. And yes, as far as I know this board is still about fighting ignorance. End of lesson. ---

I know that, you know that, lots of people on here and elsewhere (especially in Germany) know that, but JFK is still mocked for the supposed mistake. Another one: George Galloway. British MP, leader of Respect. There are many things to hold against him, but he will never, ever live down the time he went on Big Brother and meowed while wearing a skin-tight red lyrca catsuit. He’s my MP. ☹ ---
