Borg, I agree nothing is foolproof. Your point is valid. But considering the intelligence of the last many such people I think it would work FOR A WHILE till we get better explosive sniffing devices, I didn’t mean this would be the solution forever, just for right now, instead of searching everyone totally. ---

Rave, messy but interesting idea, especially with the lack of airline meals now days. There would be issues with allergies and such and it would add costs to distribute, and more than just moslems avoid pork, but only moslems care about the koran, so the koran is a better choice. With flight delays and such it would be unworkable to have pork at every gate, but thanks for a tasty idea. ---

I’m not Muslim and I wouldn’t step on a Koran. It is offensive to many good people. Pork, on the other hand, is yummy. I consider anyone allergic to pork to be suspicious. There ought to be heightened scrutiny for anyone who wouldn’t take a free bratwurst and beer at the airport. Maybe there should be strippers, too, because we know that stupid Muslims can’t eat pork, drink alcohol, or look at non-veiled women. Normally, all this stuff is only available in the business and first class lounges, but I think it is a great idea to move it out to the security line. ---

It’s straight up religious profiling, which anyone really inetnt on commiting violence could easily avoid. You’re going to give a free pass to anyone willing to step on a Koran? Great, al Qaeda would have absolutely no problem walking over that Koran. I assure you, you are mistaken in your assumptions about that. ---

So joe, are only people you agree with real posters then? This other guy asked me here, so how am I the bad troll guy? Just defending my position. What are all your opinions then? Do you want every person searched completely, when you all know it is moslems with the bombs? Will you like missing connections just so we don’t profile a moslem? Missing events and such? Remember again, I let them fly and I did not make them stand on koran to do so. People here try to put words in my mouth like the OP who said I did not think any moslems were Americans. Hood) were doctors. The 9/11 hijackers were mostly middle class and educated, some upper-middle class. I believe that there were another couple of doctors who tried to blow up an airport in Scotland.
