Has anyone posted about [this](http://www.flickr.com/photos/orangecats/2482331708/) yet?

I saw it yesterday, riding my bike back from an arduous but scenic blackberry-picking journey. Both my hands were stained purple; I had a plastic bag (several layers of them, actually) hanging from my handlebars, full of future pie filling, and I rode by the outlandishly frou-frou shopping complex in Emeryville – and there it was.

I think this wins my “Übercrass” award for the month. Maybe longer.

Have not seen that. Thank Og.

Is that for a particular store, or a mall?

“thou love”? I’m no expert on Ye Olde English, but shouldn’t that be “thy love”?

And I find shoes about as interesting as oven mitts.

Yes, I’m pretty sure it should be “thy love.” Signs with glaring errors irk me.

I’d probably like shoes more if I didn’t have hard-to-fit feet.

I used to work with a guy like that. But then, maybe you folks are right, and they’re really talking about shopping.

[Does “thy” mean the same as "thine](http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071202170321AA1L41O)

> [@](#):
>
> Both are correct in SOME instances, but not in all
>
> 1. “Thine” has TWO uses .
>
> a) The first is as an alternative for “thy” when the following word begins with a vowel-sound. In this use these are equivalent to modern “your”. “Mine” used to function the same way, e.g., The Battle Hymn of the Republic uses the archaic form – "MINE eyes have seen the glory. . . "
>
> There are many examples of this use of thine in the King James Bible and hymns… “Have thine own way, Lord” vs. “Great is thy faithfulness” (the second is followed by a consonant)
>
> b) The second use is equivalent to “yours”, and parallels the (only) way we now use “mine”. “Thine is the kingdom” (end of the Lord’s Prayer)
> 2) “Thus” has a range of uses (see the link), ONE of which is synonymous with “therefore”.
> From Am.Her.Dict entry for “thus”:
> 3. Therefore; consequently: Thus it was necessary for me to resign.
> [Thus - definition of thus by The Free Dictionary](http://www.thefreedictionary.com/thus)
>
> For other uses of “thus” you cannot substitute therefore, e.g., “The game is played thus.” (meaning “in this manner”, in other instances “by this means”)

**NinetyWt** : Yes, I think it’s for the mall in general.

Not really a mall exactly; a little frou-frou street in “Ye Olde Main Streete” layout, but painfully modern. Has a Victoria’s Secret, Godiva Chocolates IIRC, etc.
