Some excellent points have been made. Perhaps the teacher was within rights when confiscating the notebook. Perhaps not.

We’re never gonna know. Because no investigation was ever made. The school simply slammed the lid on the whole thing, and tossed a student out the door. Period. No investigation of circumstances, nothing.

Does being a teener mean that school officials may deny you due process?

The purpose of the school is to practice thought control. That is mostly what is wrong with school.

I think schools should just specify what is covered in tests and teachers advertise what subjects they cover and the students have debit cards to pay the teachers of their choice. Maybe the schools just rent the classrooms.
