# Thoughts about American hikers/spies.

I think every resource should go into their safe return, but Iran should also know that this medieval kidnapping scheme will not be tolerated. They are not spies, no matter how you spin it. They are peacemakers that lost their way, you are lucky that some of us even want to understand you and your beautiful land, because many of my Countrymen aren’t so forgiving. What information could they possibly have that couldn’t be gotten by the Stealth Ballons and Satellites?

I don’t think they were spies either, if sending some incompetents to wander around near the border is how we gain our intelligence then God help us all. I’m not so sure about the peacemaker moniker though. I don’t see how anything they did was conductive to peace, and given the current situation it seems more detrimental than anything. Unless something else comes up put me firmly in the “They were idiots, sorry, may we please have our idiots back?” category.
