# Thoughts on Smart TV

I’m seeing a lot of commercials for medications. Maybe because I’m working my way through Grey’s Anatomy. I find myself wondering who the heck makes up the names for these drugs. Three syllables, three letters in each syllable, either a vowel surrounded by two consonants or occasionally one consonant followed by two vowels. People get paid to come up with these names?

The medicine ads are allover TV.

It’s not just medical shows.

I assume they have ad agencies who do studies and make the brand names up, maybe there’s some part of the actual name of the drug in the floofy names on the commercials.
