I’m not sure what you mean by “important” - but I get an “invlaid thread” message. There is a chance that this thread has been deleted, especially if a particularly bothersome troll or sock started it or posted to it significantly. Otherwise, I’d say database errors. ---

D’oh. Forget to say what it was. It was the thread announcing the death of Wally. I’ve seen older threads, **cazzle** , but maybe only because they got bumped and that one didn’t. ---

I noticed this also, quite a while ago, when I first looked at the links on the Teeming Millions website - so it’s been gone for 9 months or so at least. Odd thread to go missing. 😕 ---

We removed the thread because there was some disagreement between Dopers in it that really made it too awful to stay here. Revisiting the issue is not going to benefit anyone and those of us that went through this already would kindly request it just be dropped. _That_ thread got nasty? Wow. I don’t remember that, but I’ll take your word for it. I respect **TubaDiva** ’s desire to not dredge up old bitterness, so I won’t ask what happened. I guess I didn’t read far enough. It seems a bit disrespectful to **WallyM7** to bicker in his memorial thread. Thanks a bunch **Wikkit** , for reminding me how much I missed that guy’s posts. ---
