I’ve read Verlaine and have a passing awareness of The Greatest Generation. Well, the first part of your two-topic post above as well as original ones to which you replied were pretty fucking unclear, elliptic, metaphoric, and un-understandable to I suspect most readers now and in the future who happen on this thread. Not good, right? Just like the first part of this one. ---
