# Thread height affected by views?

I have SDMB order set on ‘last post time’.

But I could swear some threads are moving _upwards_ without getting new posts.

The timestamp of the last post for each thread is clearly given on the forum listing page. Are any of them out of sequence?

That’s thread height? Okay… I thought you were referring to the row height in the tables increasing progressively with the number of views of each individual thread. Then I thought that I’d never seen that at all.

Never mind me, my brain is zapped coz of the heat.

It’s like this - I post a thread. I look at the forum page 10 mins later - it has 0 replies and is about 5th from the top of the list of threads.

I check again 10 minutes after - It still has 0 replies, but it’s 3rd from the top of the list.

I am 84.7% sure it’s just me.

That could happen if two threads were deleted, but I doubt that’s it. I’ll bet it’s just you. 🙂
