# Thread-view count: Does it include the OP?

I just started a new thread over in IMHO. When I saved it and then refreshed the forum page, I saw my new thread with 0 replies, but 1 pageview. Am I that one view? Did I automatically “view” the thread once by creating it?
The question never occurred to me before because the Views number has always been greater than 1 up to now.

Yeup, it’s your view. However you do not creat the view by writing the OP. After you submit the thread your browser automatically takes you to it.
If you don’t go to the thread after you get that “thank you for your post **Fiver** ” (or words to that effect) screen, your view count will be 0.

**Biggirl** is correct. Lately, I have seen two of my OP’s time out before the browser could return to view my post, so I had “0” posts and “0” views on them.
