# Threads closed with no explaination

I’ve noticed lately a few threads have been closed without explaination. The most recent I’ve noticed is the [Photoshop](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=586735) question in GQ. There was only one response, which seemed a reasonable one and the question didn’t appear to be illegal.

I know, I don’t _need_ to know why, I’m just curious.

The thread you linked to the OP asked it be closed as he found he was making a mistake in Photoshop and had solved his problem.
