Back in the Good Old Days when I was a moderator, you couldn’t ban anyone. You had to convince an admin to do the banning. Otherwise I would have banned simply EVERYONE. And sat atop the heap of corpses, sucking on the bones and smacking my lips. Okay, I’m off to start the “Babyraper Funtime” thread. Please come and comment! ---

From my experience with old threads I think it would be harder to find one with any reasonable number of participants where no-one is banned. I randomly start with: _[IMO The Top 10 NBA Players Since 1980 - The Game Room - Straight Dope Message Board](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=700000)_ 700000 - post 2 banned 770000 - post 12 banned 777000 - OP banned 777700 - post 2 banned 777770 - OP only 777777 - doesn’t exist from August 2013 to September 2015 ---
